Remember when you saw something so beautiful it took your breath away? Remember a piece of chocolate that was so delicious the taste lasted for hours. Remember the aromal of the campfire in forest or grandma’s chocolate chip cookies. It was so intoxicating, you can still smell the memory . That is how a child […]
For individuals planning a family, having a safe pregnancy and healthy children are paramount. And yet, we live in a toxic environment, more laden with chemicals and pollution than ever before. We see a rise in infertility as well as an increase in childhood disease. So what can we do to maximize the health of ourselves and our unborn children?
Natural conception should be a given for every species, yet one in six couples in the USA experience infertility. Learn from Dr. Koopersmith how toxins in our environment, the food we eat, the medications we take, and our lifestyle affects fertility and women’s health.
Let this Valentine’s Day be the day YOU PRIORITIZE YOU. It is not selfish to practice self-care. So, in practicing self-love, you are really loving your family, friends, partners and community.
I like to explain that the human body is not much different from your favorite tree. To flourish, a tree needs sunlight, water and nutrients. We humans are NO different than trees.
As a human, we have four bodies, not just one body. We have a mind body, a physical body, an emotional body and an energetic body. For every experience, we have a thought, image (or smell, touch, taste, sound), an emotion and a body sensation. The thought is but one part of the experience.
Why do we persist in seeing dualities if oneness is a universal truth? The mind’s job is to think and to divide. In fact, the mind demands internal order, untangling a bowl of spaghetti. The mind organizes and deciphers patterns and codes. But the mind-body is just one part of us. The mind incorrectly hijacks our thoughts and tells us falsely that “we” are “the mind”. But we are so much more than the mind.
My belief is that all dualities, while appearing to be complementary and opposites, are all really just ONE. Two seemingly opposing forces are really the two halves of a coin. Oneness exists in all things; duality is an artificial construct created by our minds. We humans desperately try to ignore this instinct — we spend so much energy on distraction and trying to avoid the darkness. We invented fire and light to avoid listening to our body rhythms.
