SEPTEMBER 🍂🍁🌠 is almost upon us AND…

I have an audacious dream 💤💤😴😴
A dream of a new civilization
Where Love 💝💝 reigns
Where masculine and feminine are given equal weight ⚖️⚖️
Where form and energy, logic and emotions are all celebrated🍾🥂🍾🥂🏆
Where science 🔬🔬 and magic🪄🪄🔮 are both accepted as part of our reality

The magic being the cutting edge just beyond science that we don’t yet have all the answers for how exactly that part of the universe actually works.--
The science and magic boundary always being a moving target as science continues to explain what was previously magical

Perhaps it will spur a movement where

1/ The doctor of the future is the patient
2/ Emotions are not suppressed as silly but celebrated as the portal to a more embodied life
3/ as Emotions are expressed, & Words and Language more consciously chosen, and the integration of Inner critic and Inner BFF is seamless–– my dream is that energy will be released and perhaps the rise in chronic illness and infertility will be tempered and slowed and the need for modern heroic and toxic medicines lessened.

I have spent 30 years following my dad’s footsteps in the trenches as a physician
But as a my mother’s child, I am naturally also a teacher

And truth be told– the little girl in me ( whose voice was silenced and suppressed and separated from feeling her body) now realizes as she integrates emotion and body and voice–(head, heart and hooha) that she delights in being in front of people teaching, speaking, motivating, and providing a platform for transformation and evolution.

Taming our nervous systems and alchemizing muck into fertilizer is a critical ingredient

Surfing the surfboard of life delighting in the calm and the waves of the ocean; riding the seesaw between our nervous systems–squealing with excitement on both the ups and downs of life–this is a secret to a pleasure filled purpose filled life.

I would love to speak and share my thoughts with others who are interested in my thoughts–so please share and let’s see where this ride takes me.

VISUALIZING A NEW WORLD
( “burning man facsimile” that lasts more than one week in the dusty desert of Nevada)

A dream where the masculine and the feminine of our species and the traits of the masculine and the feminine are given equal weight, equal strength, equal importance.

A dream where we all realize we are both masculine and feminine–by that i mean we are energy–in the form of emotions, feelings, aliveness and molecules dancing through space colliding with other molecules, relationships coming together and breaking apart, dreams coming in to reality and then dissolving, energy and ecstasy rising and then falling into deep despair and depression and then like a phoenix, rising again out of the ashes–bigger , better stronger–a real transformation–a forest fire that births a new forest, a volcanic eruption that births a new island–but also perhaps leads to a tsunami that drowns an prior landmass

A life of energy and of constant change and evolution-all moving towards love and light.

And as the light grows and we move towards the light, we must accept that darkness will accompany light, as the hills and the valleys always come together but the light is always more powerful–and in the deepest darkness– light is always hidden but always present in our universe because energy is indeed light and sound.

And in our universe–this energy births forms—the form being the masculine in all of us and in our surroundings. The rules and the structures, the people, plants and animals–even the earth and the sky. THe weather is a manifestation of energy as is the ocean and the tides and the waterfalls and the rivers. The beauty of our universe is the incarnation of energy into form. Indeed, heaven is here on earth–in our universe–if we choose to wake up and see it every day, every moment, every second of time that is NOW. 

NOW is life, Now is aliveness. There is no life other than the NOW.

the past, present and future all converge onto the NOW.
and my dream is that I can learn always to embrace the NOW not live in the past or fear the fuure.
not let my past determine my future.
Not let the rules of millenia dictate the how life should be for the predictable future.

Learn from the pas: yes, AND  remember our mis-takes and do NOT repeat them. Accept our smallness, like the caterpillar&  our insignificance and 

simultaneously strengthen our souls and our wings in our cocoons–
and break free NOW to re-establish a society and civilization that mimics the nature of my observations:
Every thing a microcosm and macrocosm of everything else
Where diversity reigns and monocultures are banished as they are the seeds to destruction and devastation.

Where the DNA is the blueprint yes, the scaffolding, the structure ( THE NATURE), the masculine of the cell but it is only one part of the family–KING BUT NOT RULER

Just as powerful as the DNA, is the cell membrane–THAT QUEEN BEE–that fatty membrane that surrounds the nucleus and keeps that DNA in its place, as one part of the cell and not the dictator–
And this CELL MEMBRANCE controls the NURTURE of the cell–choreographing the movement and electrical energetic channels across the membrane which controls what comes in and leaves the cell. This cell membrane–much like the feminine who has extra fat around her pelvis to feed her young when needed, this cell membrane chooses what the cell eats and poops, and who are the friends that stop by to play.

In this way our cells are held together and much stronger when the energy and the form are dancing in harmony.

But even this is not complete without the generator–the cell needs a generator–the cells need energy and the mitochondria is this bastion of energy production. Passed down from the maternal lineage, it is its own ancient bacterial form–reminding us –we are more than human, we are an ecosystem. ENERGY comes from the collaboration of ancient and modern, of bacteria and human, of nature and nurture, of structure and form and perhaps of inner child and parent.( or inner child and wise sage self).

Pleasure and turn on is our aliveness and we must celebrate our turn on– which is present in energy moving, in the electricity of our cells.
We must prioritize pleasure to keep the lights on in the body.

And in this model
We celebrate play and pleasure–and we derive play and pleasure from rest and from activity. From eating and digesting, but also from excretion in the form of sweat, urination and defecation. From restorative sleep and creative work. FROM muscle contraction and muscle massage and relaxation.

In sum we derive pleasure from living fully present in our bodies
EMBODIMENT is our SPIRITUALITY in this DIVINE HUMAN EXISTENCE
