As your doctor, healer, and confidant, I want to take a moment to share something from my heart—something I witnessed that shifted my perspective, and I hope it will do the same for you.
What’s possible?
What’s IMpossible?
It’s all in the perception. The word “impossible” contains a powerful truth—“I’m possible.”
At Burning Man in August 2024, I saw the impossible become possible. A civilization I’ve long believed in—a world built on love, not fear—came to life in the desert. A place where abundance, gifting, sharing, and communication ruled over money and competition. Where diversity thrived, and every person was accepted as long as they respected the core guidelines: respect, consent, sharing, love, and collaboration.
In this temporary city, nothing was left behind. We built it in days and dismantled it in days, leaving no trace. It was a profound reminder of the ephemeral nature of our existence. We’re here on this planet for just a moment, and what do we leave behind? Memories, connections, the way we made others feel. As Maya Angelou said, “People will forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
This experience was a glimpse of what’s truly possible. And I believe that the change starts with each of us.
We’ve been told our world operates on competition, survival of the fittest—but that’s just a story. Humans have thrived not through competition but through collaboration, connection, and communication. We’ve created civilization together, and if we can build one way, we can change it. Science has shown us that our brains are malleable—we are wired for neuroplasticity. We can rewire our beliefs, thoughts, and emotions, moving from scarcity to abundance.
If a community can live this way for a week, why not for a lifetime?
Dreams once labeled science fiction have become our reality. What we imagine, we can create. It begins with presence—being aware of yourself as both an individual and part of the collective. It begins with gratitude—recognizing that life itself is a gift. And it begins with staying present in each moment, believing in the abundance of the universe.
The only constant is change, so let’s evolve. Let’s rewire our thinking, open ourselves to what’s possible, and create a world based on true community—one built on collaboration, not competition.
You are possible.
I am possible.
Together, it’s possible.
